Mr Singh and his Greek wife registered with First4Staff for work in September 2010. They were already
registered with agencies within the Wolverhampton area but had not been offered any work, Mr Singh comments "we were registered with several agencies but had not been given any employment, some of the agencies were under the impression that students were not allowed to work and they wasn't sure what paperwork to take from my wife due to her Greek nationality. On our visit to First4Staff they guided us through this process, were very professional and we were both working within a week, I have recommended them to my friends."
Mr Anderson had recently been made redundant from his position as a Maintenance Electrician at a company he had been at for 6 years and came to register with First4Staff in early 2009. Mr Anderson states "I was quite anxious as I had not registered with an agency before and didn't quite know what to expect. I took my CV into First4Staff, they interviewed me and arranged me an interview for the next morning with one of their clients. I got the job and was thrilled, my redundancy had been unexpected and was added pressure as my wife at the time was pregnant, thanks to First4Staff I have now secured myself a full-time job."
Mrs Taylor registered with First4Staff following a long lay off with illness. Mrs Taylor had a young family and had been used to retail work but fancied a career change. Following various college courses she plucked up the courage to start seeking clerical work. Mrs Taylor says "I had done office work when I first left school and was keen to get back into it. I had registered with People Plus and told them that I needed a job to fit around school hours. I went in to see the helpful staff and they informed me that although they could not guarantee me anything they would start looking straight away. Within 2 weeks they had arranged me an interview and although I was nervous they sat me down, gave me a cup of coffee and gave me some helpful interview tips. It worked and I started work and built up my confidence, I love my job."
Mrs Kaur had a job during the evenings and weekends and required a part-time job during the day which tied in roughly with school hours. Mrs Kaur who lived nearby to Chapel Ash popped into the office on the off chance and due to the links between First4Staff and their Education deivision First Resourcing secured a position as a school secretary. Mrs Kaur was put through her CRB Police checks before she was assigned and was very pleased in the manner and speed that it all went through. 'First4Staff were very professional and I was amazed how quickly I was issued work, I have since recommended by family and friends to register their details with First4Staff.'
