First4Staff were founded in March 2001 with the assistance a £2000 loan through the Princes Trust and subsequently opened their first office in October 2002.

The office was officialy opened in 2002 by John Mellor OBE but following the recent move to our new state-of-the-art, purpose built offices in 2009 local Wolves legend Steve Bull MBE did the honours cutting the ribbon.

The company now turns over in excess of 2 million pounds per year and have recently achieved BSENISO9001:2000 Employment Agencies and Services accreditation. ISO9001 is an internationally-recognised standard for business management which ensures that businesses are operating to standards to meet the needs of their customers requirements.

ISO9001 has become the international reference for quality requirements with certification, the preferred solution for over half a million organisations in 159 countries and it is a fact that only 3% of businesses in the UK have achieved BSENISO9001 standards. First4Staff have joined this elite.

In 2004 the company were finalists in the Princes Trust and Royal Bank of Scotland Group Business Awards when during an 18 month period where almost 550 companies were set up through the assistance of the Princes Trust, First4Staff madking the final 6. The finalists were judged on Commercial Performance and Sustainability, Entrepreneurial Skills, Financial Performance, Marketing Performance and Personal and Social Impact. This was judged by moghuls and entrepreneurs from across the country.

First4Staff are also a corporate member of the Recruitment and Employment confederation. In a fast paced, knowledge bases industry the REC provides a wide range of detailed and timely information to its members regarding best business practice and legislation enabling members to demonstrate that their business is a trusted and reputable organisation.

Our supply teaching agency First Resourcing thas also achieved the prestigious DFES Quality Mark guidelines and for People Plus to achieve the pretigious Investors in People award to add to our impressive range of accreditations’
